To consider requests received from residents who are blue badge holders for the provision of a disabled persons’ permit parking space close to their properties.

Requests have also been received for the Disabled Persons’ Permit Parking bays to be removed, as the persons for whom they were provided have now moved away or passed away and, therefore, they are no longer required.

1.    That the introduction of 2 no disabled residents’ permit parking spaces on Beresford Road, Gorse Hill, Stretford, be approved.

2.    That the introduction of a disabled residents’ permit parking spaces on Colley Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford, be approved.

3.    That the introduction of a disabled residents’ permit parking spaces on Bridgewater Road, Altrincham, be approved.

4.    That the removal of a disabled residents’ permit parking space on Princes Road, Altrincham, be approved.

5.    That the removal of a disabled residents’ permit parking space on Abbey Road, Sale, be approved.

6.    That the removal of a disabled residents’ permit parking space on Darley Road, Gorse Hill, Stretford, be approved.

7.    That authorisation be given to advertise the intention of making the Traffic Regulation Order referred to in the schedules to the report and, if no objections are maintained, that the Order be made, in whole or in part, and the proposal implemented.

8.    That a consultation be carried out with nearby residents in each area.

To seek approval to introduce disabled residents’ permit parking spaces on Beresford Road and Colley Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford and Bridgewater Road, Altrincham and to remove disabled residents’ permit parking spaces on Princes Road, Altrincham, Abbey Road, Sale and Darley Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford, as they are no longer required.
