To consider a report of the Executive Member for Constitutional Reform and Resident Engagement.

1. That the content of the report be noted; in particular:

·         The methodology and approach used for the consultation process

·         The feedback received from the consultation process

·         The Equality Impact Assessment in relation to the travel arrangements policy for 2018/19

2. That the Children, Families and Wellbeing All Age Travel Assistance Policy 2019/2020 be approved as detailed in the report.

3. That the proposal to implement the above policy with effect from 1^st June 2019 be approved.

The Executive Member for Constitutional Reform and Resident Engagement submitted a report setting out the approach taken to the All Age Travel Assistance consultation undertaken with regard to the proposed policy for 2019/2020, and seeking approval for the revised policy. In response to a query, it was clarified that, whilst it was necessary for the Council to have approved its policy to be in place by June 2019, it would take effect, for all relevant age groups, from 1^st September 2019.

            RESOLVED -
