(a)    Application for the Grant of a Variation to the Licensed Plans – Cote Restaurant Limited, 183 Ashley Road, Hale, Cheshire WA15 9SD

 

The Head of Regulatory Services submitted a report informing Members of an application received from Cote Restaurant Limited for the variation of a Premises Licence, Cote Restaurant Limited, 183 Ashley Road, Hale, which had been varied following comments from local residents.

 

        RESOLVED –

 

(1)    That the application by Cote Restaurant Limited for the variation of a Premises Licence for Cote Restaurant Limited, 183 Ashley Road, Hale, in respect of an amendment to the layout plans, be granted, as detailed in the decision notice below.

         

(2)    That the issue of the Licence be delegated to the Head of Regulatory Services.

The Licensing Sub-Committee agreed that a hearing is not necessary.

 

The Licensing Sub-Committee granted the variation to the licence regarding the amendment to the layout plans.

 

 

SUB-COMMITTEE’S REASONS FOR REACHING ITS DECISION

 

 

The applicant’s solicitor agreed to withdraw the request for “removal of conditions” from the proposed application.

 

Note: the representations received from local residents are no longer relevant.

 

As the change of conditions element of the application was withdrawn, there were no relevant representations to consider.

Minutes:

The Head of Regulatory Services submitted a report advising Members of an application received from Ms. E. Rostaing for the grant of a Premises License for Riddles Emporium, 35 Regent Road, Altrincham.

 

Representations were made on behalf of the application by the applicant, Ms. Rostaing and her Business Partner, Mr Delloee.

 

RESOLVED –

 

(1)        That the application by Ms. E. Rostaing for a Premises License for Riddles Emporium, 35 Regent Road, Altrincham, be granted, subject to compliance with the conditions outlined in the decision notice below.

 

(2)        That the issue of the License be delegated to the Head of Regulatory Services.

The Sub-Committee considered the Licensing Act 2003 and regulations, the Guidance and the Council’s Licensing Policy and the application.

 

The Sub-Committee considered the written representations received from local residents.

 

The Sub-Committee carefully considered the resident’s concerns regarding crime & disorder and public nuisance and balanced those concerns with the interests of the applicant and the licensing objectives.
