To consider a report of the Head of Regulatory Services. Minutes: The Head of Regulatory Services submitted a report informing Members of an application received from Station Bar & Grill Limited for a variation of the premises licence for Station Bar & Grill, 25-29 Station Road, Urmston, M41 9JG which had attracted a representation from the Environmental Health Team, Trafford Council against the application.
All parties present at the hearing were invited to address the Sub-Committee.
Representations were made in support of the application by Mr. M. Keskin, Director, Station Bar & Grill Limited and against the application by Mr. P. Belfield, Environmental Health Officer.
RESOLVED –
(1) That the application by Station Bar & Grill Limited for the variation of the premises licence for Station Bar & Grill, be granted, subject to compliance with the conditions outlined in the decision notice.
(2) That the issue of the Licence be delegated to the Head of Regulatory Services.

The Sub-Committee decided that the representation received from Environmental Health, Trafford Council is a relevant representation.
To grant a variation of the premises licence as follows:-
Increase the licensed area by including a first floor function room. The licence will include the following licensable activities:
Live Music (indoors) Sunday to Wednesday 23.00 to 00.30 Thursday to Saturday 23.00 to 01.30
Recorded Music (indoors) Sunday to Wednesday 23.00 to 00.30 Thursday to Saturday 23.00 to 01.30
Sale of Alcohol (on the premises) Sunday to Wednesday 12.00 to 00:30 Thursday to Saturday 12.00 to 01.30
Condition
Noise limiters shall be installed in the restaurant and function room through which all amplified sound must be played.

The Sub-Committee considered the Licensing Act 2003 and regulations, the Guidance and the Council’s Licensing Policy and the application.
The Sub-Committee considered the representation received from the Department of Environmental Health, Trafford Council.
The Sub-Committee carefully considered the concerns raised by Environmental Health regarding public nuisance and balanced those concerns with the interests of the applicant and the licensing objectives.

All parties present at the hearing were invited to address the Sub-Committee.
