Decision:

1.  That submission of the full business case for Stretford Town Centre to MHCLG by 5 June 2020 be approved.

 

2. That authority be delegated to the Corporate Director of Place to make any amendments to the full business case prior to final submission as necessary.

 

3. That it be agreed to classify this decision as urgent and exempt from call-in to enable the Council to meet the MHCLG submission deadline.

29/05/2020 - Tree Management Principles ref: 927    Recommendations Approved

The updated Tree Management Principles cover how the Council will manage the tree stock in addition to ensuring that it is safe. The document also identifies how the Council will respond to tree planting, requests for tree pruning, tree removal and other impacts that trees can have on the public, land or highway.

Decision:

The Corporate Director, Place approved the proposal for GMCA (acting by its officer, TfGM) to be authorised to undertake the preparatory procurement arrangements that need to be undertaken to deliver the Clean Air Zone (CAZ) and other GM Clean Air Plan (CAP) measures on behalf of Trafford Council in accordance with TfGM’s existing Constitutional arrangements.

19/05/2020 - Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Hub - Lease ref: 922    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

 

1. That approval be given for Trafford Council to enter into a 10 year lease from NHS Property Services for accommodation at Altrincham Hub and be party to a Licence to Underlet between Canada Life, NHS Property Service and Trafford Council.

 

2. That further approval be given to the Council to grant a subsequent Licence to Occupy to Manchester University NHS Trust to share occupation of the leased accommodation

 

3. That the Corporate Director for Place be authorised to agree any minor amendments that may be required to be made to the heads of terms in order to facilitate the grant of a lease. 

 

4. That the Corporate Director of Governance and Community Strategy be authorised to enter into any legal documents required to facilitate the appropriate transactions.
