Notice of Intention to take Urgent Delegated Key Decision

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 that the following decision, which is a Key Decision to be taken under delegated authority by the Executive Member for Finance and Investment on or after 14 May 2020, is a case of Special Urgency as defined by Regulation 11:

·         Trafford Discretionary Business Grants Fund

In accordance with Regulation 11, the Chair of the Scrutiny Committee has been advised of this issue, and has agreed that the making of the decision is urgent and cannot reasonably be deferred, for the following reason:

The Council was unable to give 28 days’ notice of this decision because of the precipitated urgency of the decision, arising out of the unprecedented situation caused by Covid-19.
