(1) That the results of the consultation and objections received, be noted.

(2)That, after careful consideration of the objections received, in respect of proposals detailed at Schedules 1 and 2 to the report, the order be made and implemented.

(3) That the objectors to the proposals be notified, in writing, of the Council’s decision.

All relevant matters referred to by the objectors were carefully considered and the Council concluded that the objections should be overruled and the proposals should be implemented as advertised.

Not to implement the proposals. The Council believes that continuing to increase charges, in line with other forms of transport, acts as a deterrent to car use where other forms of transport, including cycling and walking are being promoted. The Council are working towards less overall car use as part of the Clean Air Plan.
