To seek approval to introduce disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Portland Road and Gorse Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford, Oldfield Road and Urban Road, Altrincham.

To seek approval to revise the location of a proposed disabled persons’ permit parking bay on Thomas Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford.

To seek approval to remove disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Beresford Road, Gorse Hill, Stretford, Harley Road and Hollins Grove, Sale and Bridgewater Road, Altrincham.

To seek approval to remove a disabled parking bay on Broomfield Lane, Hale.

1.     That the introduction of disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Portland Road and Gorse Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford, Oldfield Road and Urban Road, Altrincham, be approved.

2.     That the introduction of a disabled residents’ permit parking bay at the revised location on Thomas Street, Gorse Hill, Stretford, be approved.

3.     That the removal of disabled residents’ permit parking bays on Beresford Road, Gorse Hill, Stretford, Harley Road and Hollins Grove, Sale, Bridgewater Road and Urban Road, Altrincham, be approved.

4.     That the removal of a disabled parking bay on Broomfield Lane, Hale, be approved.

5.     That authorisation be given to advertise the intention of making the Traffic Regulation Order referred to in the schedules to the report and, if no objections are maintained, that the Order be made, in whole or in part, and the proposals implemented.

 6.   That a consultation be carried out with nearby residents in each location.

To enable blue badge holders to be able to park close to their homes at all times and to remove any bays that are no longer required.
