Updated information has been provided on Phase 1 of the EV charge points rollout and approval is sought for further sites to be included in Trafford. 

1)         That the changes to the sites following feasibility assessment relating to Phase 1 EV charge point rollout in Trafford, be approved.

2)         That the sites proposed to be used as Taxi EV sites promoted by Transport for Greater Manchester that have been agreed in dialogue with Trafford and the taxi trade, be approved.

3)         That authority be delegated to the Corporate Director of Governance and Community Strategy to complete any documents required to give effect to the proposals contained in the report.

To authorise changes to sites in Phase 1 of the rollout in Trafford and agree the sites proposed by Transport for Greater Manchester in collaboration with the taxi trade and Trafford for taxi EV charge points.

The alternative option is to not agree the alternative locations and this would impact on Trafford’s ambition to rollout EV charge points across the Borough.
