To consider a report of the Executive Member for Environmental Services.

1)    That the proposal to in-source the waste minimisation team and a business support officer to the Council, as detailed in the report, be approved;

2)    That the delegation of authority to the Corporate Director for Place, in consultation with the Director of Legal and Governance, to agree the final terms for the transfer of staff back into the Council be approved;

3)    That the delegation of authority to the Corporate Director for Place, in consultation with the Director of Legal and Governance to agree terms and conditions of relevant contractual documents as required be approved.

The Executive Member for Environmental Services introduced the report and informed the Committee that the changes laid out within the report would be of great benefit to the Council and would support improvements within the borough.

Following the introduction opportunity was provided for questions to be asked but none were raised.

The Leader moved the recommendations, which were approved.

RESOLVED: That the report be noted and recommendations approved.
