To receive a report of the Democratic and Performance Services Manager.
Minutes:
The Committee received a report of the Democratic and Performance Services Manager on the Scrutiny Committee’s work programme for the 2015/16 municipal year. The Committee had successfully completed the work set out at the beginning of the year, and work would now begin on setting the 2016/17 work programme.
The Chairman thanked Councillor Mrs Lloyd for her input on the Scrutiny Committee and wished her good luck in her role as the Mayor of Trafford for 2016/17.
RESOLVED: That the report be noted.

The Committee received a report of the Democratic and Performance Services Manager setting out the updated work programme for the 2015/16 municipal year.
The Task and Finish Group work on ‘Closing the Gap – Reducing Educational Inequalities within the Borough’ was nearing completion, with the aim of presenting the final report to the Committee at the 16 March meeting.

The Committee received a report of the Democratic and Performance Services Manager setting out the updated work programme for the 2015/16 municipal year.
The Committee was reminded that the Budget Scrutiny sessions would be held on 2 December and 8 December. Members were urged to submit any questions they would like to be answered at these sessions to Democratic Services, who would pass these on to the Executive.
It was noted that work had begun on the ‘Closing the Gap’ Task and Finish Group.

The Committee received a report of the Democratic and Performance Services Manager detailing the updated work programme for the 2015/16 municipal year.
Members requested that the Provision of Leisure within Trafford be added to the work programme, which was agreed by the Chairman.
RESLOVED:
(1) That the update work programme be noted.
(2) That Provision of Leisure within Trafford be added as an item on the work programme.
