The Head of Regulatory Services submitted a report informing Members of an application for the grant of a premises licence for Verastar Limited, 1 Dovecote, Old Hall Road, Sale M33 2GS which had attracted representations from local residents against the grant of a licence.

 

All parties present at the hearing were invited to address the Sub-Committee.

 

Representations were made in support of the application by Ms J Sutton, and Mr D Crank, Solicitor DWF Law on behalf of Verastar Limited. Representations were made against the application by Mr & Mrs McConville, Mr & Mrs Mottram, local residents and Ward Councillor J. Bennett on behalf of local residents.

 

RESOLVED –

 

(1)          That the application by Ms J Sutton for a grant of a premises licence for Verastar Limited be granted subject to compliance with the conditions outlined in the decision notice.

 

(2)          That the issue of the Licence be delegated to the Head of Regulatory Services.

LICENSING SUB-COMMITTEE DECISION

 

The Sub-Committee decided that the representations received from local residents are relevant representations.

 

To grant a premises licence for Verastar Limited as follows:-

 

Licensable Activities

 

Supply of Alcohol (both on and off sales)

Monday to Friday                             17:30 hrs to 22:00 hrs

 

Premises Opening Hours

Monday to Friday                             07:00 hrs to 22:30 hrs

 

Conditions

Any mandatory conditions which must be included under the Licensing Act 2003.

 

Additional Conditions

 

The CCTV system shall continually record and be fully operational whilst the premise is open for licensable activities and during all times when customers remain on the premises.  All recordings shall be stored and kept available and unedited for a minimum of 31 days with date and time stamping.  Recordings

shall be made available immediately upon the request of Police or authorised officer throughout the 31 day period in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

 

Access to the area is for staff and invited guests who would be either members of the family of customers and supplies but would always be invited guests.
