Minutes:

The Head of Public Protection submitted a report informing Members of an application received from Altrincham Football Club for the Grant of a Premises Licence for the newly built Community Sports Hall located at Altrincham Football Club, The J. Davidson Stadium, Moss Lane, Altrincham, WA15 8AP, which had attracted representations from local residents.

 

Representations were made on behalf of the applicant and in support of the application by Mr. G. Rowley, Chairman of Altrincham Football Club and Mr. and Mrs. Heslop, the current Joint Licensees at the football club.

 

          RESOLVED –

 

(1)    That the application by Altrincham Football Club for the Grant of a Premises Licence for the Community Sports Hall at Altrincham Football Club, The J. Davidson Stadium, Moss Lane, Altrincham, be granted, subject to compliance with the conditions outlined in the decision notice below.

 

(2)    That the issue of the Licence be delegated to the Head of Public Protection.

     Conditions

 

Alcohol shall not be sold, supplied or consumed on the premises during the half time period of any football league or cup match played on the ground of the club save and except within the area marked on the plan.

 

Alcohol shall only be sold or supplied in plastic containers in the period prior to the commencement and duration of any football league or cup match played at the ground.

 

After 9.30 p.m. the tannoy system will not be used for music and only for public announcements.
