Re-establish cycle lane on Brooklands Road
We the undersigned petition the Council to renew the cycle lane in both directions on Brooklands Road and repair the surface under the cycle lanes.
This is a fast and busy main road. The cycle lane markings have largely disappeared meaning cars do not consider to leave sufficient gaps. In addition the poor state of the road surface near the kerb means it is unsafe to use sections of the cycle lane and cyclists have to move out into the main road area.
