DELEGATED EXECUTIVE KEY DECISION – ON OR AFTER 29 MARCH 2019
The Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012
Notice of Intention to take Key Decision without 28-Day Notice
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 that it was impracticable to give 28 days’ notice of the taking of the following decision, which is a Key Decision to be taken under delegated authority by the Executive Member for Investment, Regeneration and Strategic Planning on or after 29th March 2019:
· Proposed Lease of Land at Audley Avenue, Stretford.
The reason for which it has been impracticable to give 28 days’ notice of this decision is as follows: The developer, both to secure the cost amount with the contractor and to secure completion in time to open in September 2020, needs to be on site by mid-May. A 28 day delay would make it almost impossible to agree and complete the legal documentation required to meet that deadline.
The Chair of the Scrutiny Committee has been advised of this issue in accordance with Regulation 10.
