05/03/2024 - Lloyd Square, Albert Street and New Street, Altrincham - Proposed Permit Parking, Waiting & Loading Restrictions and Restricted Parking Zone ref: 1312    Recommendations Approved

The proposal seeks to amend the waiting restrictions in Lloyd Square to prevent obstruction to the rear of the properties situated on Railway Street and Regent Road. A Restricted Parking Zone is proposed for Albert Street to provide ‘No Waiting at any time’ with Loading/Unloading allowed only in the marked bay. It is also proposed to amend the waiting restrictions on New Street between Regent Road and a point 74 metres southwest of Regent Road to ensure vehicular access to the new development can always be maintained.

1.    That authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed in the Schedule within this report and as shown on drawing E9122 Rev A, and that if no objections are maintained, the order be made and implemented in whole or in part, as soon as is practicable.

 

2.    That any objections maintained be reported back for consideration.
