12/12/2019 - Grove Lane Hale – Proposed Waiting Restrictions ref: 879    Recommendations Approved

A number of requests have been received from local ward councillors and residents to investigate the parking that takes place along Grove Lane in Hale. The requests concern visibility, pedestrian safety and access to properties.

Decision:

1.          That authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed in the Schedules to the report and that if no objections are received, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part.

 

2.          That any objections received be reported back for consideration.

18/12/2019 - Brook Lane/Moss Lane Area, Timperley - Alteration of Existing Waiting Restrictions ref: 864    Recommendations Approved

Site investigations have revealed that the waiting restrictions on the northern side of Brook Lane could be shortened by 13 metres which would increase parking facilities and hence local amenities for residents without adversely affecting safe vehicular access.

1.     That the alteration of the waiting restrictions on Brook Lane Broad Lane, as detailed on plan reference E9097-01, be approved.

 

2.     That formal consultation be carried out with nearby residents at each location and that any objections maintained be reported back for consideration.

 

3.     That authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed in the Schedules to the report and that, if no objections are maintained, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part.

04/12/2019 - Bridgewater Road, Navigation Road, Altrincham - Proposed Disabled Persons' Permit Parking Bays and Newton Road, Altrincham - Proposed Amendment to the Scheduling of 3 Lengths of Restrictions ref: 863    Recommendations Approved

Disabled residents’ permit parking spaces have been requested by residents of Bridgewater Road and Navigation Road, Altrincham. During enquiries regarding the application for a disabled persons’ permit parking bay on

Bridgewater Road, it has come to light that the Traffic Regulation Order for 3 of the lengths of existing restrictions on Newton Road, needs amending.

Decision:

1.     That the introduction of a disabled residents’ permit parking space on Bridgewater Road and Navigation Road, Altrincham be approved.

 

2.     That a consultation be carried out with nearby residents of Bridgewater Road and Navigation Road, Altrincham.

 

3.     That the proposed revision to the existing restrictions, within the Schedule of the Traffic Regulation Order, on 3 lengths of Newton Road be approved.

 

4.     That authorisation be given to advertise the intention of making the Traffic Regulation Order referred to in the schedule to this report and, if no objections are maintained, that the Order be made, in whole or in part, and the proposals implemented.
