Decision:
1) That the changes to the sites following feasibility assessment relating to Phase 1 EV charge point rollout in Trafford, be approved.
2) That the sites proposed to be used as Taxi EV sites promoted by Transport for Greater Manchester that have been agreed in dialogue with Trafford and the taxi trade, be approved.
3) That authority be delegated to the Corporate Director of Governance and Community Strategy to complete any documents required to give effect to the proposals contained in the report.

‘Personal Delivery Devices’ or ‘PDDs’ are designed to carry food, groceries, parcels, and industrial supplies directly to a customer. The proposal is for a trial to operate in an area to the west of the A56 (Broadheath, West Timperley, Sale West and Ashton upon Mersey) for a period of 3 months.

Decision:
1. That a 3-month trial of the use of ‘Personal Delivery Devices’ or ‘PDDs’ in areas of Broadheath, West Timperley, Sale West and Ashton upon Mersey, be approved.
2. That the Corporate Director of Place be delegated authority to agree and finalise the operating agreement.
3. That the Director of Legal and Governance be authorised to finalise and enter into all legal agreements required to implement the above decisions.

In order to alleviate residents’ concerns with parking in the area, proposals were developed and included in an informal consultation sent out to residents and businesses surrounding each proposal.

1. That authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce the Traffic Regulation Order, as detailed in the Schedule to the report and that, if no objections are maintained, the Order be made and implemented in whole or in part, as soon as is practicable.
